About This

  • 80-POUND CAPACITY HOPPER: rust-resistant, blue poly holds up to 80 pounds of material and is supported on a powder-coated steel frame; enclosed gears are protected from the weather
  • MADE IN THE USA WITH GLOBAL MATERIALS: designed and produced in the USA with US-based customer service and technical support, located at Chapin’s home base in Batavia, NY; backed by Chapin’s 5-year limited warranty
  • T-SHAPED WITH RUBBER GRIPS: large handle to easily push the spreader through snow and over ice; comfortable to grip with gloves; some assembly required
  • FRONT AND SIDE BAFFLES: target where the ice melt should go by setting the front and side baffles; better direction and less wasted product
  • TOOTHED AUGER: breaks up clumps so your preferred salt or ice melt can easily flows through the gate opening
  • GATE LEVER: change the gate opening based on the particulates; recommended for use with salt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride and calcium chloride (small and pelletized particulates)
  • TIRES AND ACCESSORIES: 12-inch pneumatic, wide-tread tires move over uneven ground; rain/snow cover included to protect particulates while spreading
  • NOTE: not recommended for use with rock salt products, sand or sand mixes, pelletized lime, lime or lime powders
